About Me

As a recent graduate of Juno College of Technology, I am ready (and excited) to join the tech industry where I can continue to learn and grow, alongside other talented developers. I am an expert communicator who loves creative problem solving. In my spare time, I like to garden, play ukulele, and spend time with friends.

Prior to coding, I worked as a teacher and a floral designer. If you would like to read more about my coding journey, feel free to check out this blog post I wrote.

Textilee

This was my first project in bootcamp. A multi-page website, created from a PSD template, that is responsive across all devices.

Music Mood Generator

A responsive website that calls the iTunes API to generate a song, based off of the user's selected mood.

The Inspired Mind

My first React app! I used the Quote Garden API to allow users to search for different quotes, based on an author or topic.

Bite-Sized Traveling

A responsive React app that allows users to plan out which restaurants to visit in different cities. Through the Yelp API and Firebase, users are able to add or remove restaurants from their trips, as well as add notes to specific restaurants.

That's What Who Said?

A fun quiz game I made with React. Users test their memory of the award-winning sitcom "The Office" and try to guess which character said these hilarious quotes.
